Solomon Wise was born Solomon Heyman in Camden County, New Jersey. His diverse upbringing frequently moving him from south Jersey to Miami, FL, gave him a down south tempo with an Up north Style.

The 24-year-old rapper turned reality star, has been trying to make a name for himself in the hip-hop industry since high school.
His love for urban culture evolved from break dancin' to graffiti artist to full-fledged rap artist. If you walked the halls of Overbrook Senior High School in New Jersey you would see 17-year -old Wise freestylin' in the hallways. "In high school I would battle," Wise said. "It's crazy because everyone would be around my lunch table listening to me or challenging me,"

During high school Wise lost a close friend to gang violence and after a caring faculty member took Wise under their wing, his career path changed. "That person was a guidance counselor and he had such an impact on me and went out of his way to make sure I was ok, I thought that was the type of person I wanted to be and the type of career I wanted to have. I want to impact people with my music the way he impacted me.
In the mid 90's, Solomon began performing in Miami nightclubs and even some "hole in the wall" venue's. His eagerness and willingness to perform eventually provided the opportunity for Wise to perform as the opening act for major label recording artist.
